In the Superman comic books published in 1958, he projected a miniature version of himself with all of his superpowers. He eventually tried to kill his mini version out of envy, but he ended up sacrificing himself to save the little one.
2) Superman was just $130 worth
Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, two high school students, came up with the idea for Superman. They sold the rights to Detective Comics for $130 (approximately $2100 in today's money). However, neither the sellers nor the buyers anticipated the character's future success. In fact, even though the check had already been cashed, it was auctioned off for $160,000.
3) Muhammed Ali X Superman
In the 1978 edition, Superman teamed up with Super Boxer Muhammad Ali to fight aliens.
4) Black Lois Lane
Lois Lane was assigned to a mission in Little Africa in the 1970s. People from that continent, on the other hand, used to regard ‘white people' as their enemies. Superman turned Lois black for a day to help her finish her assignment.
5) US Government Delayed Superman Comics
It was a time when the United States was secretly experimenting with nuclear weapons, and a Superman issue was released in which Lex Luthor attached Superman to a weapon he called an Atomic Bomb. Given the gravity of the situation, the US government delayed publication of the storey.
